As a keen runner herself, she understands the demands of training and enjoys working with runners and athletes while treating people of all ages and activity levels. She has experience working with rugby teams, providing sideline injury management and athlete rehabilitation.
Marissa has a strong interest in biomechanics and uses objective assessment tools, including VALD technology, to identify strength and power deficits and create personalised rehabilitation programs. Her treatment combines exercise-based rehabilitation, manual therapy, dry needling and patient education, guided by the latest evidence to achieve lasting results. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her running, at Pilates, in the gym or playing indoor netball.
