Oisín is a qualified Physiotherapist who joins the team, bringing a background in sports performance, injury prevention, and musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation. Physiotherapy has always been a true passion and a path he chose at an early age, at 16. This led to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy from South East Technological University (SETU) in Ireland, before completing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University in the UK. Both these degrees provided great experience working with diverse populations across private clinical and hospital settings.

Since graduating, Oisín has worked extensively in private MSK clinical practice, helping clients from all walks of life recover from injury, manage pain, and achieve their physical goals to improve their quality of life. Oisín uses evidence-based practice using manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation to achieve these goals and utilises experience with electrotherapies and dry needling to provide individualized care to deliver effective, long-term outcomes for patients.

In addition to clinical practice, he has extensive pitch-side and elite team experience, serving as Lead Physiotherapist across a range of teams in both men’s and women’s sports including rugby, soccer and in the Irish sports of hurling and Gaelic football. Sport has always been a true passion, and when mixed with his passion for physiotherapy, this has led to attending many seminars and workshops with high-level medical experts within sport to help progress and improve skills and knowledge of physiotherapy as a whole. Oisín enjoys keeping up-to-date with new techniques and practices within physiotherapy to always be able to provide the best care for patients.

Outside of clinical work, Oisín loves watching most sports, and you’ll usually find him in the gym, exploring the outdoors, hiking or socialising.
