Eunice a physio at Leaton Performance standing behind a black and white striped wall.

Eunice is a part-time employee at our clinic. In 2020, she received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Otago. During that time, she worked as a student physician alongside the local rugby teams. She has gained experience in a variety of conditions through employment in private musculoskeletal and hand therapy settings since graduating. Eunice enjoys travelling, working out at the gym, playing basketball, and hitting golf balls at the driving range in her spare time.

Eunice graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2020, following a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology from the same institution in 2017. She is a registered physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and holds a current Annual Practising Certificate.
Eunice’s passion for physiotherapy was sparked by her own experiences with frequent injuries from playing basketball. The time spent at her local physiotherapy clinic not only aided her rehabilitation but also inspired her to pursue a career in this field. Her dedication to helping others is a major driving force behind her work. Eunice finds it immensely rewarding to contribute to her community by assisting people in recovering from injuries and improving their quality of life.

One of Eunice’s most memorable experiences occurred during her first year as a new graduate. An elderly lady suffering from severe vertigo, which had significantly impacted her daily life, sought help. After a few treatment sessions, the lady was able to sit up without experiencing the debilitating spinning sensation. The gratitude expressed by the patient, including a heartfelt letter and bouquet of flowers, continues to be a cherished reminder of the impact of her work and provides comfort during challenging days.
Eunice specialises in upper limb injuries, vestibular rehabilitation, and working with the elderly. To stay current in her field, she engages with new literature and scientific studies, watches webinars, and attends courses. She values the collaborative environment at Leaton, where discussions with experienced colleagues enhance her evidence-based practice and professional growth.
